Sut mae creu cerddoriaeth electroneg gyda DNA Y'r Hên Werin? Wel, ma Plyci wedi trio datrys y broblem, ma hi rwan/nawr i chi, y bobl, benderfynny os ydio'n llwyddianus. Diolch yn ofnadwy am wrando a rhannu.

This is ‘Gwerinol’. Plyci’s new album, where he sonically travels through the light and dark corners to establish a solution to a puzzle; how does one exist in an electronic musical landscape devoid of language and literature and convey a celebration of, anxiety about, and longing for Wales? How does one incorporate the DNA of an ancient culture into an album of pure electronic sound? Well, he’s had a good go at it, it’s now up to you to decide whether or not he was successful. Thank you so much for listening and sharing.

"The whole album feels amorphous yet cohesive: wild, technical, organic, digital, like the topology/ecology of a landscape made of noise and texture and shapes: twisting, moving, ever-shifting. There’s a tangible sense of travel going on, and in that regard as a collection, it works super well. Aphex Twin would be proud of this modern glitchwork! Takes me right back to the 1996 classic, 'Richard D. James Album,' but with more voice samples and trap snares.
